First Win of the Year at Champaign

Battling rain and fast approaching storms for the final 5 holes, the Pioneers rose to the challenge to pick up their first win of the season at The Champaign Central Invitational. The boys fired 305 to edge Edwardsville by 3 shots on The University of Illinois Orange Course. Here are the results.

Tryouts:

When:  Wednesday 8/10 and Thursday 8/11
Where:  Weibring Golf Club
Time:  Tee times start at 10:00 each day. Players need to be there by 9:30 on Wednesday for a players meeting and by 9:45 on Thursday.
Who:  Incoming Freshman thru Seniors

*All players will need to have all paperwork, including an up to date physical, on file in the office to be able to participate at tryouts.

*Certain Days we will not practice is there are conflicts at the golf course.  I will let the players know in advance.

Prospective Student Open House

Prospective Student Open House is Wednesday February 3rd from 5:30 to 8:30.


Make sure to come by the Boys Golf Team table in the gym.  Coaches and players will be available to chat and answer any questions you have.

2015 Season Summary

The Pioneers capped a terrific 2015 season with a 10th place finish at State Finals.  This season included the following highlights:

8 Teams Championships including Cornbelt Conference and Regional Titles
2 Runner-up finishes including Sectional
3 3rd place finishes including the Pioneer Invitational
Finished in the top 5 in 16 of 19 total events
27 Individual top 10s including 2 Medalists
