Cornbelt Conference Rules for Railside Golf Club Oct. 1, 2011

Conditions of Play:
*
Boys play from the Burgundy Tees. Girls from Green Tees

*
USGA Rules apply. The ball will be played down.
*
All tall grass lining any fairway will be played as a lateral hazard (not marked)
*
DOUBLE PAR RULE IN EFFECT for girls only!

Stroke Play
:
*
Rule 3-3 - Doubt as to procedure play two balls.

Out of Bounds:
Rule 27
*Penalty stroke and distance
*
Defined by white line or fence on #1, #2, #4, #5, #15, #18.

Water Hazards: Rule 26
*Red stake or line - lateral hazard on #3, #9, #11, #12, #16, #18.
*
Yellow stake or line -water hazard on #14

Ground under repair:
*
Marked by white.

Drop Area - Girls Only - #14 across water used after a ball goes into the hazard.

Bridges and Culverts:
*
Played as lateral hazard rule. Marked in red.

Yardage Markers:
*
200 (blue), 150 (white), and 100 (red)
*
Yard plates and sprinkler head yardage to center of green.

Local Rules:
*150 yard bushes (free drop) no closer to hole.

Scoring:
*Please be sure to mark your score on the correct hole.
*
When finished, give your scorecard to your coaches - they will give to score table.
*Play 6 count 4

Ties:
*Individual ties for 1st place only determined by sudden death commencing on hole #10, followed by #9, and continuing with this hole selection until a winner is determined.
*Players in sudden death who do not win will all be awarded 2nd place medals.
*Duplicate medals will be awarded for all other ties.
